Event will showcase easy and affordable services designed to help small businesses grow.

SAN ANTONIO, TX — The Leon Valley Post Office, located at 6825 Huebner Rd., San Antonio, TX, 78238 is hosting a Grow Your Business Day, on September 19, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., to demonstrate how the U.S. Postal Service continues to create easy and affordable services designed to help small businesses grow. Business owners and entrepreneurs will also learn about USPS small business offerings designed to help grow and innovate small business in a one-on-one setting.

“San Antonio means business when it comes to helping small businesses grow. We offer numerous solutions to assist with marketing efforts such as Every Door Direct Mail and new and exciting mailing innovations for advertising and shipping solutions that help small businesses ship economically and confidently,” said Postmaster Robert Carr. “We recognize the importance of supporting small businesses, the jobs they help create, and the quality of life that they provide in every ZIP Code here and across the nation,” Carr added.

Postal Customer CouncilAttendees will also have the opportunity to meet members of the Postal Customer Council (PCC) and get insight into the benefits of joining the local PCC. PCCs are local organizations that help foster a close working relationship between USPS and commercial mailers with the goal of sharing information about postal products, programs, and services through an educational and collaborative environment.

The PCC program is a valuable resource for business mailers, large and small. The program serves as an open channel for USPS-to-business communication, providing information and best practices for achieving cost-effective and profitable mailing, education and training, as well as solving local challenges. Through regular meetings, educational programs, mailer clinics, and seminars, PCC members learn about the latest postal products and services that may help them grow their business.
