All Oath of Office ceremonies are special, but this one has significant meaning to the Chambers family. Postmaster Chambers’s father, James Chambers, Postmaster of Fort Myers, FL, will be administering the Oath of Office to his son, Quaid.

Quaid Chambers is a native of Idaho. At the age of 24, he is a young Postmaster who began his Postal career in 2018 as a Holiday Relief Clerk in Hammond, LA. He later served as a City Carrier Assistant in Amarillo, TX, prior to joining the management ranks.

As Postmaster of Dumas, Quaid will oversee delivery and retail operations in Dumas, Channing and Hartley, Texas. The Postal team is made up of 19 dedicated individuals, serving an estimated population of more than 14,100 residents. Postal operations include 11 city and rural routes combined that deliver to more than 6,650 addresses. “I am honored and excited about my new role and look forward to serving the community as its new Postmaster,” said Quaid.

This event is free and open to the public.
