COPPELL, TX — The United States Postal Service will be offering a commemorative keepsake postmark, also known as a pictorial cancellation, on July 20, 2024, in recognition of the 50-year legacy of the Cozby Library and Community Commons in Coppell.
The celebration, free and open to the public, will offer the postmark at no cost from 10:30 a.m. until noon at the library at 177 North Heartz Road, Coppell, TX 75019. This unique postmark will be a part of the history of the Cozby Library and the City of Coppell, TX.
The Friends of the Library are sponsoring this event and invite you to attend this very special opportunity. A special commemorative envelope will be provided by the Friends. First-Class stamps will be for sale, or customers may bring their own postage.
After the event, postmarks will be available at the Coppell, TX, Post Office for 30 days (until Aug. 19). To mail-in a request for the customized postmark, address an envelope to the intended recipient, affix a First-Class Mail postage stamp to the envelope, and place in a larger envelope, also with appropriate postage.
