CRESSON, TX — Tonia Green will be officially installed as the Cresson, TX Postmaster at a special program at the Cresson Post Office. The brief installation program will feature the administration of the Postmaster’s Oath of Office to Tonia Green by USPS Manager, Post Office Operations Anthony Willis.

Background:

Tonia Green began her postal career as a Letter Carrier in St. Louis, MO in September 1992. She advanced in her career as a Retail Associate in Atlanta, GA; Supervisor, Customer Services in Houston, TX and Dallas-Fort Worth; Marketing Business Development Specialist in Houston, TX; Manager, Customer Services in Baltimore, MD and Fort Worth, TX; Acting Manager, Customer Service Operations in Baltimore; and Officer In Charge (OIC) in Rhome, TX.

“My goal is to provide outstanding customer service to the communities served by the Cresson Post Office and to contribute to the overall success of the Postal Service,” said Green. “As outlined in our USPS Delivering for America plan, we’re modernizing and continually adapting to the evolving needs of our customers. I’m very much aware of the vital role we play in connecting neighbors and the community to the nation.
