SAN ANTONIO, TX – The United States Postal Service has immediate career opportunities for job seekers in the San Antonio area. Rural Carrier Associate ($20.38 per hour)
Automotive Technician ($63,658 annually)

Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) - An RCA serves families and businesses in rural and suburban areas. An RCA is responsible for the delivery and collection of mail, and may sell stamps, supplies, and money orders. The successful applicant must have a valid state driver's license and demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record. Becoming a RCA could be the first step to becoming a full-time, regular rural carrier with full benefits. Starting salary: $20.38 per hour.
Automotive Technician (AT) - The automotive technician performs both routine and complex repairs and maintenance on all types of motor vehicles in the postal fleet, diagnoses vehicles and performs operational checks on engines, major support systems, parts and components. Duties include preparing and updating vehicle records, managing work orders, conducting visual and auditory vehicle inspections, road calls and road tests.
Maintenance Mechanic (MM) – A maintenance mechanic performs preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance tasks associated with the upkeep and operation of various types of equipment. s maintenance and routine repairs such as plumbing, heating, refrigeration, and air-conditioning. Duties include performing maintenance and routine repairs on simple control circuitry, bearings, chains, motors, belts and other parts of equipment, and assemble, install, replace, repair, modify or adjust small operating equipment.
