USPS Honors Iconic Jazz Musician with Black Heritage Stamp Unveiling

The 48th stamp in the Black Heritage series honors the iconic New Orleans musician Allen Toussaint (1938-2015). The special stamp dedication event for the Allen Toussaint Black Heritage Stamp is free and open to the public during the Irving, TX Black Arts Council’s 2025 Annual Black History Program.

The Allen Toussaint stamp will be available for purchase at the event.  The Black Heritage Stamp is issued in panes of 20. Forever stamps are always equal in value to the current First-Class Mail 1-ounce price.
