Marfa Post Office Announces Pictorial Postmark Contest

MARFA, TX — The Marfa Post Office is hosting the first ever Marfa Lights Festival Pictorial Postmark Contest. Marfa Postmaster Giselle Villanueva invites artists everywhere to be the creator of the inaugural Marfa Lights Festival pictorial postmark.

To be part of Marfa post office history, simply submit your original artwork to the Marfa Post Office, 100 N. Highland Avenue, by April 4, 2025. Artwork should be no larger than 4 inches horizontal by 2 inches vertical. It should include a postmark with the following information:

Name of Station: Marfa Lights Festival Station
City, State, ZIP Code: Marfa, TX 79843
Date: August 30, 2025

The winning entry will be selected on April 18, 2025, and the winner will receive special recognition at the 2025 Marfa Lights Festival.
