ROUND ROCK, TX – The Postal Service is focused on building a more stable and empowered workforce and is currently seeking new team members to fill immediate vacancies as Maintenance Mechanic, City Carrier Assistant, and Rural Carrier Associates. To assist potential applicants, USPS will be at the Speed Networking Job Fair on Thursday, February 12, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., at the location below. Postal officials will be onsite to answer questions, assist with the application process, and help future employees create an online profile to immediately start applying for USPS positions.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
Maintenance Mechanic (MM) – At $27.32 per hour, a MM performs semi-skilled preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks. These tasks are associated with the upkeep and operation of various types of mail processing equipment, building equipment, and powered industrial equipment.

City Carrier Assistant (CCA) – At $21.21 per hour, a CCA delivers and collects mail on foot or by vehicle in a city area. A CCA provides a critical service to the community by ensuring mail delivery during weekdays, weekends and holidays with opportunities for career promotion. CCAs may be eligible for certain benefits including paid leave and health insurance. This position is ideal for candidates that enjoy staying active outdoors with occasional customer service interactions.

Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) – At $21.89 per hour, an RCA serves families and businesses in rural and suburban areas and is responsible for the delivery and collection of mail. An RCA may also sell stamps, supplies, and money orders. Applicants must have a valid state driver's license and demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record.
