The U.S. Postal Service will attend the 2026 Lunar New Year Festival at the Chinese Community Center. USPS Retail Staff will offer customers the opportunity to purchase 2026 Lunar New Year Stamps at the event. This event is free and open to the public.

Background:

The Lunar New Year Festival, now in its 23rd year, is a major cultural event held at the Chinese Community Center in Asiatown, Houston. Celebrating the Year of the Horse, the festival highlights Houston’s rich Asian heritage through a vibrant marketplace, cultural activities, traditional dragon and tiger dances, and performances. This year’s event coincides with Valentine’s Day, featuring special heart-themed crafts and exclusive merchandise. The free festival offers an engaging experience for all ages, with over 50 local vendors showcasing diverse cuisine, artisan crafts, and unique goods.
