Background:

As Postmaster of Giddings, McFarlin will oversee delivery and retail operations in Giddings, Ledbetter, Warda, and Lincoln. The Postal team is made up of 23 dedicated individuals, serving an estimated population of 17,000 residents.

To this role, McFarlin brings vast Postal Service experience and a desire to serve. She started her career as a Rural Carrier Associate in Paige, TX, in January 2012. She subsequently served in multiple offices, ultimately joining the Kyle Post Office, where she became a Regular Rural Carrier in May 2019. Over the years, McFarlin served in many post offices leading to her promotion to Supervisor, Customer Services, in Lockhart, TX, in December 2022. She also served in assignments as Officer In Charge and Postmaster in parts of Texas prior to her selection as Postmaster of Giddings, TX. McFarlin looks forward to utilizing the experience she has gained to provide excellent service to the Giddings, Ledbetter, Warda, and Lincoln communities.
