USPS Announces Final Decision to Relocate Retail Services at Nederland Post Office

NEDERLAND, TX — Following a previous proposal, and after reviewing all public feedback, including customer comments, the U.S. Postal Service has made a final decision to relocate retail services from the Nederland Post Office located at 223 N. 14th Street Nederland, TX 77627, to a new location within a 2-mile radius from the current location.

The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were provided to our customers at the Nederland Post Office. Plans are to continue to offer services at the Nederland Post Office location until the new facility is open and operating as a Post Office.

While the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and the Nederland, TX, community, the USPS properly considered community input, and this decision is consistent with Postal Service objectives.
