AUSTIN, TX — The Postal Service is currently seeking new team members to fill immediate vacancies for Rural Carrier Associate and Automotive Technician positions in Austin and the surrounding areas. Position Descriptions:

Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) - At $21.89 per hour, a RCA serves families and businesses in rural and suburban areas and is responsible for the delivery and collection of mail. Applicants must have a valid state driver's license and demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record. This position could be the first step to becoming a full-time, regular rural carrier with full benefits.

Automotive Technician (AT) – At $32.13 per hour, the AT will perform both routine and complex repairs and maintenance on all types of motor vehicles in the postal fleet. They will also troubleshoot and diagnose more complex vehicle malfunctions and may provide assistance to lower-level employees.
