MIDLAND, TX – The Postal Service is currently seeking new team members to fill immediate vacancies for Rural Carrier Associate positions in Midland and the surrounding areas. To assist potential applicants, USPS will be hosting two Job Fairs at the post offices listed below on July 16 – 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., on each day. Postal officials will be onsite to answer questions, assist with the application process, and help future employees create an online profile to immediately start applying for USPS positions.

Position Description:
Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) - At $21.89 per hour, a RCA serves families and businesses in rural and suburban areas and is responsible for the delivery and collection of mail. Applicants must have a valid state driver's license and demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record. This position could be the first step to becoming a full-time, regular rural carrier with full benefits.
