At $21.44 per hour, a Holiday Clerk Assistant (HCA) performs a variety of sales and customer services at a retail window or lobby, which may include selling postal products and services, and accepting packages and mail. The HCA also provides sales and customer service support by greeting customers, offering assistance with product selection and use of a self-service kiosk. Additional duties may include distributing and scanning incoming and outgoing mail at a post office, branch or station.

Applicants must demonstrate and maintain an emphasis on working safely. This position could be the first step to becoming a USPS full-time, regular employee with full benefits.
