Locations to also offer dutch door service on Sundays for pickup of notified packages
SALT LAKE CITY — Shipping holiday gifts just got more convenient. Twenty five Utah Post Offices will offer extended Saturday retail hours the three Saturdays before Christmas (Dec. 8, Dec. 15 and Dec. 22).
The same locations will also offer dutch door pick up service from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the three Sundays before Christmas (Dec. 9, Dec. 16 and Dec. 23) for customers wanting to pick up notified mail or packages.
“It’s all about customer convenience.” said Salt Lake City Postmaster Steve Chaus. “As we count down to the holidays, we know how demanding the season can be as we rush to get everything done on time. Staying open later the three Saturdays before Christmas will help our customers’ check holiday mailing off their to-do list.”
