The Postal Service Salt Lake District will host job fairs on April 11th and 13th to assist applicants in attaining postal employment. Job opportunities exist throughout Utah.
Thursday, April 11, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 13, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Priority Mail Center
1960 S. Industrial Road, Salt Lake City
Job seekers will have access to job information, and assistance in applying. Applicants will learn how to navigate the online application process at usps.com/careers.
The Postal Service is looking to fill hundreds of current job openings and positions with a variety of duties, job locations and schedules.
Starting pay is up to $17.78/hr. depending upon the position. Pay, benefits and accrual of leave varies by position. May lead to career positions. Additional details will be available at the job fair.
Applicants must be 18 years of age, or 16 years of age with a high school diploma. Applicants must be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background check. A valid driver’s license, safe driving record and two years driving experience required for some positions.
