Postal Service Resumes All Retail Services after Utah Earthquake

Two SLC Post Office Locations Currently Impacted

SALT LAKE CITY — The United States Postal Service would like to inform the Salt Lake City community that retail services have been restored at all post offices in their area following the 5.7 earthquake that occurred near Magda, UT, on the morning of March 18, 2020.

The following offices are open for customer postage, supply and service needs:

  • Salt Lake City Main PO — 1760 W 2100 S, SLC, UT 84199- Retail is open 7:30 a.m. – 6:00
    p. m. Mon-Fri and 09:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Sat
  • Salt Lake City Bulk Mail Entry — 1760 W 2100 S, SLC, UT 84199- Retail is open 10:00 a.m. –6:00 p.m.
  • Magna PO — 8470 W Magna Main St. Magna, UT 84044-Retail is open 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Mon-Fri and 09:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Sat
  • West Valley PO — 3490 S 4400 W, SLC, UT 84120-Retail is open 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Mon-Fri and 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Sat
  • Millcreek PO — 3350 S 2940, SLC, UT 84109 – Retail is open 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Mon-Fri and 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Sat
  • Tooele PO — 65 N Main St, Tooele, UT 84074 – Retail is open 08:30 – 5:30 p.m. Mon-Fri and 09:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Sat

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
