CHARLESTON, WV—The Appalachian District has announced the Rainelle Post Office will reopen on Monday, June 10 in its new building located at 397 John Raine Drive following flood damage to the previous location. A customer appreciation event is scheduled for Thursday, June 27.
The newly remodeled Rainelle Post Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, with Saturday hours 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Post Office will offer sales of stamps, money orders, packaging supplies, and have Post Office boxes available for rent. Expedited packaging (free Priority Flat-Rate boxes and envelopes) will also be available for added convenience in mailing packages.
In an expression of appreciation to the community for its patience and support during the rebuilding process, patrons are invited to stop by on Thursday, June 27, from 10 a.m.to 12 p.m. for a “Customer Appreciation/Reopening” event.
“We are excited to once again offer our retail services and welcome our customers to the new Rainelle Post Office,” said Rainelle Postmaster Bethie Murdock.
