WASHINGTON, VA — Post Office Box services and retail services for customers at the Washington, VA, Post Office, 389 Main St. Ste. B, Washington, VA 22747, will temporarily relocate to Sperryville, VA, Post Office, 43 Main St., Sperryville, VA, 22740, effective Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019.

PO Box and retail services are being temporarily relocated until the new Post Office in Washington, VA, is operational.

Washington, VA, customers can access retail services at two nearby locations:

Sperryville Post Office, 43 Main St., Sperryville, VA 22740. Retail hours are 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m.-noon on Saturday. The lobby is accessible 24-hours daily.

Flint Hill Post Office, 664F Zachary Taylor Hwy, Flint Hill, VA 22627. Retail Hours are 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m.-noon on Saturday. The lobby is accessible 24-hours daily.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
