NEWPORT NEWS, VA —s The Postal Service will host “Customer Appreciation Day” on Saturday, Aug. 31, at the following Post Offices:

• Denbigh Station, located at 14104 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23602, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• Patrick Henry Station, located at 685 Turnberry Road, Newport News, VA 23608, from 11 a.m. to noon.

The events are an opportunity to show our customers how much we appreciate their business and answer their questions.

Customers will also be able to learn more about postal products, services and special features such as Informed Delivery, which allows residential customers to receive emails with images of their letter-sized mail expected to arrive soon. The Customer Appreciation Day is open to the public and free for customers.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
