Postal Service to Observe Christmas Day and New Year’s Day Holidays

VIRGINIA — Post Offices nationwide will be closed on Christmas, Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2019 and New Year’s Day, Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020. Although there will be no regular mail service on those days, Priority Mail Express is delivered 365 days a year and will be delivered. All Post Offices will be open after the holidays, and regular mail delivery will resume Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
