DREWRYVILLE, VA — The U.S. Postal Service has made a final decision to reestablish the Drewryville Post Office to a yet-to-be determined facility.

A public meeting was held on Oct. 10, 2019, to discuss the proposed relocation. Public opinions expressed in those discussions and comments received after the public meeting were carefully considered in making this decision.

The goal of the Postal Service is to reestablished retail operations for our customers in the Drewryville community. Consideration will be given to sites that are convenient to customers and will meet all USPS operational needs.

The Postal Service will continue to offer services at the Capron Post Office, located at 23021 Main Street, Capron, VA, 23829 until the new facility is open and operating as a Post Office. There will not be any changes to mail delivery.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
