VESUVIUS, VA — The Vesuvius Post Office, located at 7255 S. River Road, is temporarily closed due to damage to the building.  Mail deliveries in Vesuvius will continue as usual.

Customers may visit the Fairfield Post Office 7.4 miles away at 5585 N. Lee Highway, Fairfield, VA 24435 for full retail services.  The hours of operation at the Fairfield location are:

• Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.
• Saturday:  7:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
• Sunday:  Closed

 

All Post Office Box service at the Vesuvius Post Office has been moved to the Fairfield Post Office.

The Postal Service is working to restore service to the Vesuvius office as quickly as possible.
