CALLAO, VA — The Callao Post Office, located at 72 Northumberland Highway, is temporarily closed due to damage to the building.  

A mobile unit will be stationed in the Callao Post Office’s parking lot for PO Box customers to pick up mail.  The mobile unit also offers some retail services.

Customers may also visit the Lottsburg Post Office located 2.2. miles away at 2217 Northumberland Highway, Lottsburg, VA 22511  The hours of operation for the Lottsburg location are:

• Monday – Friday: 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 2: p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Saturday:  10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Sunday:  Closed

The Postal Service is working to restore service to the Callao office as quickly as possible. Mail deliveries in Callao will continue as normal
