Postal Service is Hiring for the Holidays

RICHMOND, VA — The Postal Service is hiring seasonal employees in the Richmond area. Candidates will be required to work weekends and holidays. The Postal Service takes great pride in meeting the holiday delivery expectations of our customers, and we welcome new applicants or previous seasonal workers to our team.

  • Holiday Term City Carrier Assistant:  $17.29/hour
  • Holiday Clerk Assistant:  $18.15/hour
  • Holiday Transportation Assistant TTO (CDL A): $19.64/hour
  • Holiday Transportation Assistant MVO (CDL B): $19.24/hour

  • Mail Handler Assistant: $16.65/hour
  • PSE Mail Processing Assistant: $18.15/hour

Basic Requirements:

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age, or 16 years of age with a high school diploma.
  • Applicants must be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation.
  • Any position that has a driving requirement will also require a valid driver’s license and a clean two-year driving history.
  • Citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
