Winchester, VA Post Office Parking Lot Repairs Begin Nov. 16

Retail services will not be impacted by planned repairs

WINCHESTER, VA — Customers of the Winchester Post Office, 340 N Pleasant Valley Road, are advised that the customer parking lot will be undergoing major repairs beginning Monday morning, Nov. 16. Parking lot repairs are expected to be completed by Nov. 27. Hours of operation will remain the same and retail services will not be impacted by planned repairs.

The repair project will encompass the front customer parking area, and the mail collection box drive-through. Limited parking will be available on the northeast side of the Post Office. While the front customer entrance will be closed, customers will still be allowed to use the left side entrance. The drive-through mail collection box will be moved temporarily to another location while repairs are being made in the area where the collection box is normally located.

“We regret any inconvenience to our customers during the parking lot repair project,” Postmaster Karen Davis said. “We expect our customers will appreciate the improved parking lot.”

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
