Postal Service Package Pickup Now Available in the McLean Area
MCLEAN, VA — To connect with the evolving needs of customers, the U.S. Postal Service is expanding package pickup to more ZIP Codes, including 22106.
Package Pickup Service allows customers in select ZIP Codes around the country to access carrier pickup from the convenience of their own home or business when mail is delivered.
Package Pickup is free, no matter the number of items scheduled for pickup, for Priority Mail Express items, Priority Mail items, First-Class Package Service-Commercial items, and international or returns items.
Customers can save a trip to the Post Office and ship their packages from their own address by simply visiting: usps.com/pickup.
Pickups can be scheduled Monday - Saturday until 2 a.m. EST on the day of the pickup. Complete information can be found at: https://usps.force.com/faq/s/article/What-is-Package-Pickup.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
