USPS participates in job fairs to help applicants with the process
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA — This summer, the Postal Service is participating in job fairs throughout the state of Virginia to prepare for the busiest season — fall.
Immediate positions available include city carrier assistant ($18.92 per hour), sales and service distribution associate ($19.12 per hour), rural carrier associate ($19.50 per hour) and assistant rural carrier ($19.50 per hour).
The Postal Service will be at these Charlottesville job fairs to assist potential applicants with the job application process:
Thursday, Aug. 4: Job fair at Virginia Career Works (Charlottesville Center), 944 Glenwood Station Ln., Charlottesville, VA 22901, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022: Job fair at the Goodwill store (outdoor event), 440 Gander Dr., Charlottesville, VA 22901, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
