Postal Service Operational Updates in Virginia

CROZET, VA — The U.S. Postal Service has temporarily suspended retail and delivery operations for some postal facilities Central and Southwest Virginia until further notice due to Hurricane Helene impacts.

The Postal Service is committed to delivering each piece of mail where it is safe to do so and where conditions permit. For offices that are experiencing a temporary closure, the Postal Service makes contingency plans to conduct retail and delivery operations from a nearby facility. We anticipate continued improvement with local recovery efforts, to include power, connectivity, and roads.

The Ivy Post Office is temporarily closed due to flood damage. During this closure, all services will transfer to the Crozet Post Office.
