USPS Service Updates in Hurley, Birchleaf

Post Office closed due to flooding

Hurley, VA — Significant flooding over the weekend caused the temporary closure of the Hurley and Birchleaf Post Offices.

The Postal Service is still assessing the damage. Hurley retail and delivery operations have temporarily relocated to Wolford Post Office.

Postal employees throughout flood-impacted areas continue to attempt every reasonable, safe delivery where possible. We appreciate customers’ patience and understanding.
