USPS to Highlight New Investments at Norfolk Sorting and Delivery Center

Postal Service will Showcase New Vehicles and Facility Upgrades that are Part of $40 Billion Delivering for America Plan

As part of its Delivering for America plan, the U.S. Postal Service is rolling out significant investments across the nation. This $40 billion initiative is designed to modernize and revitalize the Postal Service. The tangible results of this investment will be showcased at the Norfolk Sorting and Delivery Center, where new vehicles and state-of-the-art facilities will be on display.

This substantial investment highlights the Postal Service's dedication to innovation and modernization. The event will provide a first-hand look at the new fleet, replacing vehicles that are over 30 years old, and the newly updated facilities, demonstrating the Postal Service's commitment to enhancing both service delivery and the customer experience in Virginia and across the nation.
