Cruz Bay – St John, USVI – Effective noon on September 23, postal operations for the St John Cruz Bay Post Office, located at 100 Vesper Gade, were suspended ahead of expected impacts of Tropical Storm Karen.  This impacts delivery and retail services for postal customers in ZIP Code 00830. 

Postal officials report no other service disruptions yet in the Virgin Islands but will post official notices as necessary. 

Postal employees are reminded to call their EMERGNC hotline numbers within two hours of their reporting times to verify work requirements for the duration of Storm Karen, officials add.

Regular Monday window services in Cruz Bay run from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm with post office box lobby access running from 7 am to 6 pm.  Those afternoon hours are not available today under this suspension.
