Vermont — Post Offices across the state will be open for business on Tuesday, December 24, however some may close earlier than normal so that our employees can enjoy the holidays with loved ones. Check with your local office for details. Post Offices will be closed on Wednesday, December 25.

While only Priority Express and other overnight committed packages will be delivered on Wednesday, full retail and delivery operations will resume on Thursday, December 26.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
