Port Ludlow Contract Post Office Continues Operation Under New Contractor

PORT LUDLOW – The Port Ludlow Contract Post office (CPO) will remain in operation under a new contractor effective July 1, 2019 according to Larry Dekker, Postmaster at Port Hadlock, who manages the contract.

“I am pleased that Scott and Paula Quast have purchased the retail business and are continuing with the contract for the Contract Post Office,” Dekker said. ”The new business will be known as the Port Ludlow Mail Service.

“The current owner of the Port Ludlow CPO will continue to operate the CPO until the Quasts take over so there will be no interruption in service to the Port Ludlow community,” Dekker noted

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund operations.
