Who:

USPS Integrated Operations Planning Specialist will also speak about the digital USPS Operation Santa program and how simple it is to participate.

Santa has a new way of handling letters this year, posting them to USPSOperationSanta.com and facilitating secure adoption of children’s wishes. There will virtually be no child left behind because Secret Santas won’t even have to leave the comfort of home to help a child and/or family.

At the event, a USPS spokesperson will explain the simple steps to make a child’s wishes come true. 1) Search the filter for the state you want 2) Adopt the letter online 3) Go to a Post Office that offers “Label Broker” as an on-site service and mail the gift.

The letters viewed on-line will still carry the heartfelt message and drawings of the child, and the Post Office, as it has done for 109 years, will continue to be the trusted partner between the child and Secret Santa.

The Spirit of Christmas hasn’t changed. Only the portal to reach more children has.  Children can write letters now. Pre-registration for adopters began Nov. 15th and Santa’s mailroom opens for the season on Nov. 29th.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations
