Pasco, WA — If you’re thinking about a career change, a first-time job, or simply want to work where you live, look no further than the Postal Service.

While other companies are reducing their workforce, the Postal Service is actively hiring. Our goal is to welcome up to 1,000 new employees over the next few months across the state of Washington. The need is especially urgent for mail handlers, clerks, and mail carriers.

The majority of our Postal employees live in the communities where they work. So they are able to make a daily positive impact on their neighbors and businesses.

If you’re in need of a new career path or just starting out, please make plans to visit the upcoming job fair at the Tri-Cities Family Expo:

  • Friday, Jan. 20, noon – 7 p.m.
    Saturday, Jan.21, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
    The HAPO Center
    6600 Burden Blvd
    Pasco, WA 99301

No appointment is necessary. The job fair will fill open positions in the Tri-Cities area (Pasco, Kennewick, and Richland). But you don’t have to live in these communities to stop by and apply! The job fairs are open to everyone interested in a Postal career. And our employees will help locate jobs across the state for potential applicants.

Postal Service Human Resources employees will be available to help job fair attendees with benefits, qualifications, and application questions. Laptops will be available on the day of event for immediate application submission.

Our employees are our greatest asset, and we are investing in our new personnel by providing robust training and on-the-job support. The Postal Service offers competitive wages and benefits, and career advancement opportunities.
Starting pay for city carriers begins at $19.33 per hour paid bi-weekly. Applications are accepted online at www.usps.com/careers.
