Manages USPS services in Ilwaco and Chinook Communities
Ilwaco, WA — Ivy Huff is the newest Postmaster for the Ilwaco and Chinook communities.
Originally from Oregon, Huff has been a Postal employee for five years and for the majority of that time she served as a supervisor of customer service and delivery in Camas.
Huff says she’s “thankful and blessed” for her new position and intends to “create a positive environment that is also productive,” for her office staff. Under her leadership her office oversees nearly 1,000 daily deliveries in the Ilwaco and Chinook communities.
As a Postmaster, Huff is an important part of the Postal Service’s “Delivering for America” 10-year plan to achieve financial sustainability and service excellence.
She credits her family and partner for their support and encouragement. Her work both inside and outside the Postal Service helps to make a positive impact on her neighbors.
“I enjoy being a part of the church and helping surrounding communities.”
Huff lives with her partner and their dog, along with two roommates. She is currently in school working toward a bachelor’s degree and when she has time, she enjoys taking vacations and embarking on new adventures.

The United States Postal Service is an independent federal establishment, mandated to be self-financing and to serve every American community through the affordable, reliable and secure delivery of mail and packages to 169 million addresses six and often seven days a week. Overseen by a bipartisan Board of Governors, the Postal Service is implementing a 10-year transformation plan, Delivering for America, to modernize the postal network, restore long-term financial sustainability, dramatically improve service across all mail and shipping categories, and maintain the organization as one of America’s most valued and trusted brands.
The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
