Thomas Ongalibang, Enumclaw’s Newest Postmaster

Thomas Ongalibang has been with the Postal Service for nearly 30 years. In that time, he has held a number of postal jobs in California. The newest chapter in his career book brings him to Washington as the Enumclaw postmaster.

Ongalibang is doing his part to support the Postal Service’s 10-year “Delivering for America” plan by, “Emphasizing customer service and satisfaction to my team, and make sure that’s demonstrated with how we conduct ourselves.in public.”

Prior to joining the Postal Service, Ongalibang served four years in the US Army both overseas as part of Operation Desert Storm and stateside at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX.  He earned an associate degree from ITT Technical Institute in Electronic Engineering.

Ongalibang has four children, one of whom is a supervisor at the Rancho Mirage Post Office in California.
