Mail Delivery Limited by Oregon Road Fire in Chattaroy and Elk

Affected Customers Can Pick Up Mail at Local Post Offices

The Oregon Road fire burning in Spokane County has affected mail delivery for more than 1,300 addresses in both Chattaroy and Elk, Washington.

All affected customers should pick up their mail at their respective Post Office locations until further notice:

  • Chattaroy Post Office
    3616 E Chattaroy Rd.
    Chattaroy, WA 99003
  • Elk Post Office
    9409 E Bridges Rd.
    Elk, WA 99009

The Chattaroy Post Office is open Monday – Friday, 8:45 a.m. – 4:45 p.m., and Saturday, 8:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

The Elk Post Office is open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – noon, and 1 p.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.

Customers will be required to show a proper photo ID in order to pick up their mail and packages.

Retail transactions, such as hold mail requests or stamp purchases can be found at both the Chattaroy and Elk locations. And many services are also available online at usps.com.
