Walla Walla, Washington Post Office Temporarily Closed for Gas Leak

Customers Able to Pick up their Mail at Nearby Location

In the interest of employee and customer safety, the Walla Walla Post Office located at 128 N 2nd Ave. is temporarily closed due to a gas leak detected in the area. 

Customers are advised to pick up their mail and packages at the West Richland Post Office located at 401 W Van Giesen St., West Richland, WA 99353. The office is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., drop shipment customer hours are Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Post Office box customers can collect their mail at the College Place Post Office located 500 S College Ave., College Place, WA 99324. The office is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Customers will be required to show a proper photo ID in order to pick up their mail and packages.

Retail transactions, such as hold mail requests or stamp purchases can be completed at both the West Richland and College Place office locations. And many services are also available online at usps.com.

We apologize for this inconvenience to our customers and will reopen the Walla Walla Post Office as soon as it is safe to do so.
