The Postal Service is looking for a few, good elves to help spread holiday magic throughout the Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, and West Richland communities this year.
Late October through New Year’s Day is known as peak season within the Postal Service and it’s the busiest time of the year. City carriers are in high demand for seasonal employment to augment the current staff in the Tri-Cities. These positions play an integral role to help keep the increased volumes of holiday mail and packages flowing smoothly, ensuring gifts and greetings arrive on time.
Anyone in need of a seasonal job should plan to stop by the Pasco Post Office for more information:
No appointment is necessary. Employees will be available to help interested applicants with benefits, qualifications, and application questions.
Seasonal carriers are needed beginning Nov. 30 through Dec. 27, 2024 to help deliver holiday mail and packages. Employees are paid $19.33 an hour, bi-weekly.
Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Applicants must also be available to work weekends and holidays.
If someone can’t make it to the Pasco Post Office, the seasonal jobs will be posted on the USPS online career page, usps.com/careers, beginning Oct. 23 through Oct. 27.
