Postal Service Helps Community Businesses in Ferndale, Washington

Postal Service business development specialists were on hand at the Ferndale, Wash, Post Office location today to answer questions from small business owners and entrepreneurs about the availability of new postal rates, postage discounts, and services.

The local Puget Sound Postal Customer Council (PSPCC) was also present to help with networking and information on best practices to improve mailing effectiveness and profitability for local businesses.

The free, community-based event featured information about the wide variety of postal resources available to help the local business owners and entrepreneurs grow their businesses. Highlighted services included the Informed Delivery tool, every door direct mail (EDDM), and shipping discounts among other offerings.

Postal customers aren’t just individuals mailing letters or cards. Many are small, local business owners and entrepreneurs. The Postal Service recognizes the importance of supporting these groups, the jobs they help create, and the contributions to the quality of life they provide in every ZIP Code across the nation. Because when small businesses are successful, their community is successful.
