The United States Postal Service will host a job fair event Friday, June 13 from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Spokane Valley Public Library.
“Those who attend will meet friendly staff who will assist interested candidates in the hiring process,” said USPS Communications Specialist Zachary Laux. “Those candidates will also find great employment opportunities, not only in Spokane, but across the state of Washington and Idaho.”
New Postal Service employees enjoy competitive starting pay with a range between $19 and $20 per hour, depending on the position, paid bi-weekly. Benefits include regular pay increases, paid vacation leave, health insurance, and growth opportunities.

Several types of positions are available throughout Washington and Idaho, including letter carriers, rural carriers, mail handlers, retail associates, CDL drivers and maintenance technicians. In Spokane, the Postal Service is looking to hire letter carrier assistants, retail associates and mail handlers.
