Lyle Post Office update: all operations restored

Retail and P.O. Box operations available in Lyle

UPDATE — All operations at the Lyle Post Office, located at 308 Washington St, Lyle, WA 98635, have been restored after an evacuation notice caused a temporary suspension of services.

LYLE, WA — The Lyle Post Office, located at 308 Washington St, Lyle, WA 98635, will temporarily suspend operations due to an evacuation notice encompassing the town and surrounding area. Because of the evacuation notice and road closures, delivery services in the 98672, 9862, and 98628 ZIP Codes have been impacted.

Mail pickup and retail operations will be available at the White Salmon Post Office at 185 NE Snohomish Ave, White Salmon, WA 98672.

The White Salmon Post Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Customers picking up mail are reminded to present a valid photo ID.

The Burdoin Fire has brought level 3 “go now” evacuation orders for the entire town of Lyle and the surrounding areas. The fire remains 0 percent contained.
