“It has been a dream since I started working for the Post Office to become a Postmaster. My Grandfather was a Postmaster in Michigan. The legacy he started became a family tradition to work for the Postal Service, and every one of his children worked for USPS in some form or fashion. My Mother started the tradition in my immediate family, followed by my dad. I am the second USPS employee to hold a Postmaster position. I want to represent the community I serve and show our customers that the postal service is the backbone of our nation, and we will provide them with the greatest service that we can.

Michael is married to his Husband, Curtis and in his spare time, he enjoys home beer brewing, crochet, cooking, bowling, reading, and video games. Michael is active in both the American Legion and home brewing clubs

Kirkland Post Office opened January 31, 1889, with John J. Thompkins as the first Postmaster. As Kirkland Postmaster, Crimmins oversees daily delivery including over 1,100 Post Office Box deliveries, 58 city routes with a population of over 92,000 served and a staff of 120 employees.
