U.S. Postal Service will Suspend Regular Mail Delivery Due to the Severe Winter Weather in Lakeland District

ILLINOIS/WISCONSIN – Due to the extreme weather conditions caused by Winter Storm Jayden, the U.S. Postal Service will temporarily suspend regular delivery service throughout the Lakeland District for Thursday, January 31, 2019, to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees. Specific information about the areas affected is being posted to the USPS Service Alerts page: http://about.usps.com/newsroom/service-alerts/.

In the Lakeland District, mail delivery will be suspended for the 530-532, 534, 535, 537-539, 541-543, 544-545, 549, 600, 602, 610-611 ZIP Codes in Wisconsin and Illinois. Post Offices will remain open to offer retail services.

Customers can call 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777) to obtain information, including available, alternate Post Office retail locations, or check the Postal Service website: www.usps.com. The Post Office is always open at www.usps.com.  The Postal Service’s smartphone app makes it even quicker to use the most popular functions on usps.com, anytime and anywhere.
