Beaver Dam Post Office Hosts Job Fair

USPS personnel will share professional experiences and insights

Beaver Dam, WI - The Beaver Dam Post Office is hosting a job fair Wednesday through Friday, October 16 - 17, 10am - 3pm.

The U.S. Postal Service currently has job openings at the Beaver Dam Post Office for both seasonal and permanent positions. Attendees will meet postal officials, who will provide firsthand information and descriptions of job openings that are currently available and need to be filled. Computers will be available for potential applicants to submit their applications online. This event is free and open to the public.

The Beaver Dam Post Office is accepting applications for:

  • Holiday City Carrier Assistant (HCCA)
  • Holiday Clerk Assistant (HCA)
  • Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) 
  • Assistant Rural Carrier (ARC) 

The Postal Service employs close to 15,000 people in the Lakeland District which covers most of Wisconsin and northern Illinois.

Entry level positions include training and can lead to long-term careers within the Postal Service. There are numerous vacancies available now and more coming soon. This is an excellent opportunity to work for the most trusted government agency in the country.

Postal officials with work experience in the jobs available will assist applicants by answering their questions and helping them find the right position that aligns with their career goals and skills. Multiple computer stations will allow applicants to gain more insights into employment with USPS, create a USPS profile and take the on-line assessment at the same time.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
