Appleton Post Office Hosts Career Fair

USPS personnel will share professional experiences and insights

Appleton, WI — The Appleton Post Office is hosting a career fair Wednesday, June 23, 2021, 1pm - 5pm. The Appleton Post Office is located at 410 West Franklin St, Appleton, WI, 54911.

The U.S. Postal Service currently has job openings in Appleton, the Fox Valley and across the Wisconsin District. Attendees will meet postal officials, who will provide firsthand information and descriptions of job openings that are currently available and need to be filled. Computers will be available for potential applicants to submit their applications online. This event is free and open to the public.

Lakeland District is accepting applications for:

  • City Carrier Assistant (CCA)
  • Rural Carrier Associate (RCA)     
  • Tractor Trailer Operator (TTO)
  • Mail Handler Assistant (MHA)            
  • Assistant Rural Carrier (ARC)       
  • Postal Support Employee (PSE)          

The Postal Service employs close to 15,000 people in the Wisconsin District.

Entry level positions include training and can lead to long-term careers within the Postal Service. There are numerous vacancies available now and more coming soon. This is an excellent opportunity to work for the most trusted government agency in the country.

Postal officials with work experience in the jobs available will assist applicants by answering their questions and helping them find the right position that aligns with their career goals and skills. Multiple computer stations will allow applicants to gain more insights into employment with USPS, create a USPS profile and take the on-line assessment at the same time.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
