Postal Customer Council collaborative support helps mailing industry members attain success

Greater Madison Area PCC Celebrates 40th Anniversary

MADISON, WISCONSIN — The Greater Madison Area Postal Customer Council celebrated its 40th anniversary during an annual meeting held February 9, 2023, at the Olbrich Botantical Gardens in Madison, WI. Over 70 U.S. Postal Service and local mailing industry representatives also honored individual award winners for their contributions to the field.

Industry Member of the Year Kari Ripp-Rosenstiel, Manager Postage and Print Products, Colony Brands, IMS, believes the relationships built within the PCC is invaluable. “In the PCC we learn from each other," Ripp-Rosenstiel said. "When I have questions, I’ve come to rely on and trust the relationships we’ve established as PCC members.”

Postal Service Wisconsin District Manager (A) Jeff Drake said the relationships with mailing industry partners is about cooperation. “Our partners inform us with the reach and scope of their needs. The Postal Service builds our focus around those needs to ensure both of us are successful,” Drake said.

Postal Customer Councils are local organizations that help foster close working bonds between USPS and commercial mailers with the goal of sharing information about postal products, programs, and service through an educational and collaborative environment.
