Post Offices Will Be Closed for Martin Luther King Day

No mail delivery or retail service, customers encouraged to mail early

WISCONSIN — On Monday, Jan. 15, 2023, the U.S. Postal Service will observe the federal holiday marking the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. The holiday is commonly referred to as Martin Luther King Day or MLK Day. All Post Offices in Wisconsin will be closed and there will be no mail delivery or retail service on this day.

Post Offices will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 16, with full mail delivery and retail service.

As a reminder, blue collection boxes are not serviced on Sundays or federal holidays.

Customers are encouraged to plan their postal needs accordingly and are reminded that many services, such as purchasing stamps and shipping labels, are available at usps.com
